Hey all,
Few of us planning a boating trip over from Ireland next weekend. Thinkin the water levels are looking a bit iffy though. Wondering whats happening there at the mo, any advice would be appreciated. class 4/5

March 9, 2009 - 09:13 — The DudeHard to tell, but its been pretty wet this weekend with the Upper Spean on 4pipes yesterday. Forecast for the week looks cold with plenty of precipitation due to come in toward next weekend so it could be good so long as everything doesn't fall as snow. I reckon it should be worth a trip anyway - theres always something, and it could turn out to be epic!

March 14, 2009 - 08:42 — BoaterGirlLaggan dam was releasing on 5 pipes on Friday. Been raining overnight and it raining this morning in Spean Bridge. Dam will still be going and Roy could have some decent water. Happy paddling :o)
Spean Gorge Level
March 14, 2009 - 09:15 — BoaterGirlJust picked up the Saturday paper from Spean shop, guage on the wall downstream at Spean Bridge is on 4. Cracking level for the gorge. Couple of playwaves and constriction will be big!
