Hey you crazy freestylin' merlins,
Looks like the tailrace is going to be working on thursday evening, high tide is at 18.00 on a 3.8 high so I'm going to rock up at about 5 and hope for some magic. Was out BMXin' around inverlochy today and saw it still had an absolute shabba load of water chucking out of there which isn't a particually good thing (too much water and it puches through not allowing the tide to jack the water back on itself) but with all this dry weather hopefully it will have dropped off to a lower level by Thursday-I hope.
Who knows what it will be like this year....will it be trashy and uber retentive?.....will it be remenicisent of last years turbo huge wave of love?....or will we have something completely new and amazing?.... there's only one way to find out!
At least if it doesn't go we are blessed with one of the best flat water pools in Scotland to play....with each other in......

March 29, 2009 - 10:18 — helenawas down there the other night on a 3.8 tide-the lochy had a fair bit of water in it too, was really nice-not as cold as it has been known to be at times which was nice. Bit on the small side-i.e. no big green wave yet, but it was a cool holey wavey thing where spins carves and loops and roundhouses were all going OK for James....my front surfing rocked too...ahem.....
hopeully catch some of you down there at some point,
