I lived on arran for 8 years and ran this river many time but allways walked that one. (i must be a jessy!) If you haven't all ready done it the upre Glen Ashdale gorge is a good run (up by the wigwams) The rock are sharp!! And it needs loads of water.
The transition from the fall to the slide was remarkably smooth, then you're launched up and out from the kicker and have to prepare the flaps for landing, which also went super smooth. That's why I called it Superfly. That was 31st July, had my eye on it for a few years but never been on the island and off work with my boat at a time with enough water to make it worth while. Can't wait to catch it again, too much fun.
Good effort!! How did you get on at the kicker??
