River Tummel and Gaur

River Tummel and Gaur

Hi I wondered why there was no water level information for the River Gaur, Upper Tummel or Lower Tummel (I realise they are dam release rivers).

Also does anyone know the contact details (assuming  there is a contact) for finding out when and at what level rivers are being released?

Hi,

Summer release information for the Tummel (upper and lower sections) is on the Dam Release page.  That will tell you when it is going.  In terms of the actual water levels this corresponds to the I'm not sure if there is a guage on the river, likewise for the Gaur.  Someone else might know but the people to ask would be SEPA.  They have a network of guages throughout Scotland.  Cheers
