Paddle Sports Evening - Sat 7th March

As part of this years Fort William Mountain Festival the Paddle Sports Evening organised by Dave Biggin introduces:

Lee Kelly - whitewater kayaker, photographer, filmmaker and 'legendary Geordie'

Lee has spent 10 years exploring the world's best kayaking, and collecting amazing stories and images.  Specially for the Festival Lee will be bringing us tales, sounds and sights of his greatest adventures from mighty rivers such as the Blue Nile - all served with an extra dash of spicy turbo energy guaranteed to inspire you out into the whitewater world of happiness.

This years Paddle Sports Evening also includes sea kayaking films, local kayaking films and a screening of 'A Dam Shame' about the recent loss of whitewater on the White Nile due to dam-building.

Date: Saturday 7th March 2009 

Location: Nevis Centre Festival Theatre, Fort William

Time: 7.00pm -10.00pm (doors open 6.30pm)

Price: £10/£8 for under 16's.
