Ireland Boaters

So, how did you guys get on? Any photos?   If you made it the Fort this weekend you should have found some good stuff to do.  Laggan Dam was on 4 pipes today (Sun).  Reckon it should still be going Mon / Tues even if there is no more rain.

good news

Hi,

Wicked to hear you had a good time. It's cool when visitors get the conditions here (it's hard to beat but unbelievably, it doesn't always rain in the Fort!?!).  What was the tree situation like on the Kiachnisch, I had heard there were still a couple lodged in awkward places?

Be great to see some photos and hope you make it back over sometime.

trees Kiachnisch

There was one tree of note blocking the small drop at the entrance to the gorge section, its easily seen on approach. We had to portage round it. The rest of the gorge was clear. one very large tree at the top of the large drop just before the old footbridge at the exit of the gorge, but wasnt blocking the line in any way. As for footage a vid was made. enjoy
