Since the SEPA data is down this weekend, this thread is aimed at spreading the word about water levels... I'm off to have a glance at the Spean and Roy now...
Spean is just over 2 on the gauge, Roy is at the top of the quartz band. i.e. both Spean and Roy gorges will be at a nice highish level. Upper and Lower Roy will be running nicely too but will be well in control.
My guess is most of its snow melt, with more to come during the day so most rivers in the area should be good to go!
2pm Saturday 7th. It's been pissing with rain all day in the Fort and around Lochaber. There is ALOT of snow which is all currently melting. Spean and Roy had water this morning even before the rain and Nevis was coming up at lunchtime. There should be no problem finding a river to run today!! Hope everyone is out on the water, let us know what is good and post the photos......
