We are launching our second short movie competition, with awesome prizes from Pyranha and Winderemere Canoe and Kayak.

Create and submit a 2 minute video short on the subject of boating. Entertain us, inspire us, make us laugh or cry. Best film wins. Simple.

The winner, gets a ticket to the world of the sponsored boater. A deal to be part of team pryanha with all its perks and opportunities. Up to 2 people will be taken into pyranha and get the full treatment. Amazing deals on boats and they are looking for people who can do films, so you got as good a chance of anyone else to extend the deal. Second prize is a really well worth having voucher for £100 quid at Winderemere Canoe and Kayak, and third scoops a £50 voucher.

Entries must be submitted between Jan 1st and Mar 29th following the terms that are set out here. You got plenty of time to plan and execute this. Films will be judged by an estemed panel of filmakers, pro paddlers, kayak gurus, sponsor reps and me :-). In terms of a steer for what to make - very little, but make a film. Think of erotic kayak porn rather than fully lit close ups to music. Engage the brain, and be honest. Best/worst kayaking move is not the criteria, (though it may help!). We have no preconcieved ideas about what type of boating should win, sea, surf play or river,
