If you're paddling the Spean Gorge please be aware that there is a boat (orange Hoss) broached and pinned accross the entire width of the left channel of the final rapid of the gorge (the one where the river goes around a small rock island in the river).
It's well and truly stuck, early this afternoon the water was covering the boat by a good 20cm. In higher water you should be able to paddle right over it, but in lower water it would be a hazard. But please be cautious.
I suspect it will not be easy to release it until rreally low water. We spet 1h30m trying to extract it earlier , but the river was rising hampering our efforts. If you do come across it floating free please let me know (07912323503). I know someone who would be very glad to have it back.
Cheers
Simon
