There has been a sad lack of good photos showing the river gods getting their own back.  Remember it helps us stay humble and gives everyone else a good laugh.

Maybe you are all too busy doing excellent safety, I'm lucky enough to paddle with friends who make sure they pick up the camera before the throwline. 

So despite my pride, to get the ball rolling I've put up a picture of me just as I'm starting to get munched on headbanger on the spean. 

It was a long time ago, honest! and anyway we're all just in the queue waiting for our turn in the green room........
